  LSWEEKLY LiteStep Related News 13.11.99 - 19.11.99
 ----------------------------------------------------

Instead of using this space to do my usual rant about the
LiteStep community, I'm going to use it to welcome all the new
subscribers from darkstep.com. Welcome to LSWeekly! I do realize
that this is a LiteStep newsletter, but because of DarkSteps ability
to load LiteStep modules, much of the information you will find
within this letter will we useful to you also. The MODULES section
in particular because most of the modules listed there should run
within DarkStep.
As DarkStep grows, I will eventually be doing a DSWeekly
news letter with this same format. Of course, I might just totally
lose it all and end up doing a ShellsWeekly or something because
of the sheer number of shells out there but I have a great respect
for Fahim and would really like to honor him by doing a DS specific
letter.

- LsSlider b0.2 ~ BlackHawk (10:36am 16.11)

"LsSlider is NOT the same as v_bar..........
LsSlider is planned to be a general Slider module and not a
VC- slider module like v_bar. The three main differences are
size, stability and flexibility - LSS is less then half as big
as v_bar and uses far less memory resources, It *should* be
stable and it's Sliders can be placed anyWhere(!), with
anySkin(!!)for anySlider. All Sliders can have anySize and
each slider can control different things(!!!)......... *phew*"

	%%UPDATE%% (3:23pm 17.11)

It has all the banglist stuff working and a ton of other
new features like toggle Show/hide of a Slider, DRAGABLE

	%%UPDATE%% (12:40pm 19.11)

"I have fixed both LsSlider and V_Bang to address problems
people had with running them on WinNT and Win2K.
There are two new Bangs in LsSlider - !ShowSlider and
!HideSlider. I have also "improved" the dragging code a bit,
but you shouldn't be able to tell the difference."

This is a command line theme changer. It's not very
effective as you have to have a certain dir structure
but it's one of the first theme changers I have found.
