  XSWEEKLY Shell Related News 03.02.01 - 09.02.01

No rant this week as I'm sick as a dog. Not only was I seeing
much of Sunday again on Monday, but now I have this horrible head
cold. Gah, if it's not one thing it's something else. I will attempt
to return you to your normal station soon.

- Lynx Warehouse

Lynx Warehouse has undergone quite a transformation since the
last time I spot lighted it. Now there is a new interface, a new
url, and a ton of new links. This site is totally user driven.
The idea behind it is for visiting users to submit links to build
the database. Great idea imo. Shoot on by and give it a gander
  and a link.

[ Shell Of The Week ]
  -------------------

- Neon

This shell looks to be more of an applauncher but it will run
very well as your default shell. It's appearance is bar like
and you create skins, not themes for it. It is a 3meg download
  including three skins.

- ShellON 2.20 ~ delusional (11:00 05.02 na)

ShellON is a full feature shell/boot manager that boasts
	a ton of useful features.

	New in this version:

	- The 'Set xxx As Shell' button now works! (I'm sure it used
to, but then I noticed it didn't...:)
	- All file names written as shells are shortened to 8.3 file
names, as this is required by Windows.
	- Double clicking the shell list now acts as 'Log Off and
	  Load' button does.
	- Icons in Shell List.
	- Shell List Popup Menu.
	- Different Views for Shell List.
	- New About screen and Launcher screens. Now much cooler!
	- Removed Advanced and Basic Interfaces - more confusing than
	  helpful.
	- Increased the delay before icons are made transparent at
startup, so they usually are now.
	- Improved the Wallpaper folder checking procedure. It should
be quite a lot faster now, as it only does one pass rather
than one for each file type.
	- Altered layout of Wallpaper list tab (slightly), larger
	  preview image now.
