  XSWEEKLY Shell Related News 19.08.00 - 25.08.00
 -------------------------------------------------

Ok ok ok, I know, its been over three weeks since I mailed
this out. After deciding to take off about a week to chill out and
get some of my other projects finished, I got hit with about a million
problems all at once. On top of it all, this past friday was my
daughters first birthday, so that delayed this issues. Too just cap
off the crappyness that is my life, this week was horribly slow on
all fronts.

Let me take this little space here to say that I am truly
sorry for slacking off so much, but I am back again and hopefully
my world will stay at atleast a semi-normal level for a while so that
I can continue this news letter.

	Thanks for sticking with me.

- Testtasks.dll ~ jugg (10:59 21.08 ls)

Tasks.dll is the ever popular task manager for LiteStep and
pureLS. It is a very configurable task manager allowing for
placement of tasks anywhere on your desktop, skinnability,
and a miraid of other options.

This is a debug test release to find memory leaks within
	the dll.

	New in this version:

	- Got the page faults down from 200+ per second to around
	  25 per second.
	- Fixed a fairly large memory leak/corruption when no
applications were opened for tasks.dll to display tiles
	  for.
	- Fixed a smaller resource problem.

	geOBar with one command!

"Check out my skin (sorry) at skinz.org. It's called

- BlackJack ~ Leo (11:53 21.08 v2)

"Now you can play blackjack in v2os (or at least try).
The game have some bugs yet, and i'm releasing this first
version because i'm tired to fight against them.

	"Most notably are:
	- dealer points are always - 1 of what should be. (i.e.
	  22 show 21)
	- I don't have a randomize function.

"The seed for the random number generator is always the
same. So every time you open the game you play the same
	game.

"The source can be used to make other card games. It has a\
	function to draw cards [ drawcard(x, y, <cardnumber>); ] and
a function to shuffle the 52 cards array (or deck)
	[ shuffledeck(<seed>); ]."
