  XSWEEKLY Shell Related News 10.06.00 - 16.06.00
 -------------------------------------------------

Kinda of a lite issue this week, but that's done on purpose as I
have a million other little side projects going atm. Most of the
sections that are gone this week will be back again next week as I will
have some time. I have added in a new feature that I would like to get
some responses to, a Mailbag. This weeks question is: What is the
worst module you have ever used, and why? Mail all replies to
demigod@meganet.net

This week I am going to thank a bunch of people who helped me
get to this point with the newsletter.

- Yaso for registering the domain, doing the basic layout, and the gfx.
- Bryan for hosting my mailing list and putting up with my crap about
  the shell.
- mrG for the xsweekly button, and various layout ideas.
- Fahim for standing by me and giving me support when I needed it most.
- Everyone who wrote in to support me during my down period with
  LSWeekly.
- Adam for hosting me for nothing and putting up with my crap.
- My work for hosting my domain for nothing.
- The coders for the various shells and os's.
- My girlfriend and daughter for all their love and support.
- Mike for listening to me complain about slow d/l speeds.
- And everyone else I forgot, there are too many to name.

Thanks a lot, without you, XSWeekly would never have become a
reality. Here's hopping that I can continue to bring this letter to
this part of the net.

- XSWeekly.com Online (11:07 16.06 na)

I finally got a domain and the page is up and running. I am
missing a few pages, like the entire Quick Info set of pages.
Stop over there and tell me what you think. Also, reply to the
Mailbag question if you get a chance.

 [ Modules ]

- LsICQ 0.1 ~ Ender (10:33 13.06 ls)

"Ender of easycuts and PureLS has just released a new module
which is essentially a miniature version of ICQ (ie. it's a
new ICQ client). At this point all of its functionality is in
its !bang commands, but Ender plans on including a contact
list, etc. Let him know how you'd like the contact list to be
	implemented."

- lsplaylist 20000614 ~ MrJukes (10:36 13.06 ls)

"The Module Man, MrJukes, has put out a new module which is
essentially an mp3 player as a loadmodule that he calls
lsplaylist. He's also included an .exe which he calls playback.
The module has all the standard mp3 player functions, all
wrapped up into a loadmodule. The app is skinnable, so he's
hoping that we'll get as many skinners as possible to put out
	some skins for playback.

	%%Update%% (11:12 15.00)

	- Added skinning support to the playlist on the main window.
You can now move it around like the rest of the buttons.
	  More details in skinning-readme.txt.

	- To get the fake winamp support working to display the
currently playing song put FakeWinamp=1 in your [Main]
	  section of lsplaylist.cfg

	- Added anchoring to the buttons. This will associate a
button with a side. To use anchoring, click the edit layout
button, then right click on the button you want to set the
anchor for. The properties dialog doesn't work yet but it
	  will soon.

	- Added support so you can use those modules that display the
title of the currently playing song.

	- Fixed it so that the New Tracks Window pops up when a new
mp3 is created anywhere in the watched directory structure.

	- Added skinning support the progress bar. Check the
	  skinning readme for further details.

	- If you hold down control and use the arrow keys in Layout
Edit Mode you can now resize a button on the fly.

	- Fixed the pause between songs.

- Sentry 1.0 ~ TrOgI (11:18 15.06 ls)

"TrOgI, author of the popular and useful dwarf wharf
replacement, has released a new analog clock module he calls
"Sentry". It's very customizable, supports Magic Pink (tm)
transparency, shows the date (with the customizability of
LSXCommand :), and supports dragging. If you want something
other than the popular Chronos or LSXCommandClock digital
clocks and you don't want to have to load up a wharf just to
run alsclock or the like, then this new loadmodule is your best
	choice."

"First theme. First release. First time for everything? Nearly
res independent, 1024+. Easy install. Full sentences? Oh,
	alright then.

"The layout and functionality of this theme is based on KGnome
by KanedA and the graphics were mercilessly taken from a
windowblinds theme called MaxD by Johanne Chain. Still, the
	popup's all mine.

"It might take up a bit too much room for some of you but give
